Radu Afrim (a.G.)

Graduate of the Departments of Direction and Letters of the Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj, Radu Afrim is one of the most valued Romanian directors and also a laureate of the most important theatre awards, such as the UNITER award for best direction in 2006 and 2007, the Coup de Coeur de la Presse Award, received in 2008 at the Avignon Festival, or the European Culture Award, granted in 2009 by EuroKultur Forum. In 2009, his show, "The Illness of Family M.", a production of the National Theatre in Timişoara, was included in the repertoire of the Odeon Theatre in Paris.
