Daniel Ghidel was born in 1982 in Reșița and in 2004 he graduated Acting in German at the Faculty of Music and Theatre of the West University of Timișoara.

He has been working with the German State Theatre Timișoara since 2000. Since 2006 he is part of the GSTT ensemble. He has performed and continues to perform various roles in productions such as Lysistrata 3.0 by Aristophanes as Agathon, The Parallel City: Fabric as Alpi, The Snow Queen by Yevgeny Schwarz as the Reindeer, Leonce and Lena by Georg Büchner as the Court Priest, Kurt the God by Alberto Moravia as the SS Officer, Nadirs by Herta Müller as the Great Grandfather. 

He has collaborated with directors from Romania and Europe: Niky Wolcz, Ana Mărgineanu, Alexander Hausvater, Kristóf Szabó. He has repeatedly participated in theatre projects in Austria directed by Uwe Reichwaldt, Christian Pfeiffer, Uschi Leitner and Nikolaus Stich.
