Alex Halka was born in Arad in 1985. He studied acting at the German section for acting at the Music department of the West University Timişoara. He played parts in the short films "Are you still there", "Mind" and "Family Single", all by Andrei Jecza. Other projects he participated in:
He played Benno in the play "Tempo! Tempo!", by Thomas Richard, stage direction: Traian Şoimu, 2008. This was a Cooperation between the German Cultural Centre Timişoara and the Stuttgart Literature House. He also participated in the student project "Seven Seconds" by Falk Richter and performed in "O întâmplare stranie" (A Strange Happening), after Paul Ioachim; a performance that was shown at the "International Youth Festival" in Gent / Belgium in 2004.
